The client provides a domiciliary care provision for the elderly. In light of a new government directive to integrate care services between NHS trusts and local authorities, the client has seen a sudden rise in the number of service user referrals.
In addition to the rise in workload, the client increasingly has to respond to provision requests at short notice. With the sudden expansion of staff numbers to cope with increasing demands, the client was experiencing a widening gap between the meeting of weekly wage bills and the settling of their invoices.
To ease cash flow we introduced the client to a funder who put together a facility to fund specific invoices to the local authority. This allowed the client to release funds back into the business, thus enabling them to maintain the required staff levels and respond quickly to short notice provision requests.
Although the facility caters for a single debtor, the client isn’t obliged to place all invoices in the facility and has the flexibility to match the facility exactly to their cash flow profile as required.
We are delighted that our services have helped to fuel the growth of this business and look forward to offering our ongoing support.
